15 Questions

Lien On Me is a show that pokes fun at many things. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and that’s just the way we like it. However, there are some deep rooted ideas that we are very passionate about. Community, sustainability and simple living… just to name a few. The idea of community is one of the foundations we built the show upon.  In essence, Lien On Me is about a family who bands together with their friends to get through hard times. The main characters aren’t even aware of it but it’s something that is inherently part of who they are. It’s been said that we don’t necessarily attract the things we want in life, but rather, we attract the things we are.  And that means who we are at the center of our being. If I’m a good, honest person, I’ll attract goodness and honesty into my life. Sometimes who we are eludes us so we are baffled when we attract unexpected things into our life.  These things are closely tied to discovering your life’s purpose. Sometimes we are clear on what that purpose is and other times it seems a little fuzzy. So by understanding who you are.. your likes and dislikes… you can focus on the things your want to attract into your life.  To help you get clear, here is a list of things to ask yourself:

Simple Instructions:

  • Take out a few sheets of loose paper and a pen.
  • Find a place where you will not be interrupted. Turn off your cell phone.
  • Write the answers to each question down. Write the first thing that pops into your head. Write without editing. Use point form. It’s important to write out your answers rather than just thinking about them.
  • Write quickly. Give yourself less than 60 seconds a question. Preferably less than 30 seconds.
  • Be honest. Nobody will read it. It’s important to write without editing.
  • Enjoy the moment and smile as you write.
